HOUSTON ? A Tornado Warning was in effect until 2:15 p.m. Monday for Liberty, Polk and San Jacinto counties.
Rain chances will remain as we head into the evening.? There?s a 40-percent chance of rain, mainly after 5 p.m. This afternoon?s temperatures will top out around 75 degrees.
?We?re looking for garden variety thundershowers,? said Gomez. ?Areas north of Houston may see a heavier storm, but I don?t think we?re going to see any severe weather.?
Tuesday will be mostly sunny with early morning temperatures in the upper-40s and daytime temperatures in the upper-60s.
The rain returns Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday before clearing out again for the weekend.
